On Saturday 14th July 2018, up to 100 veteran, vintage and classic motor vehicles will take part in this year's Oakamoor Hill Climb Revival. They will assemble in Oakamoor Park, where you will be able to get close to the cars and motorcycles and chat with their owners. The Paddock will also accommodate the Sponsor displays and one or two other gems of the transport industry as well as a food and craft stalls and fun activities for all the family to enjoy.
The online entry form and regulations will be available soon.
The Oakamoor Hill Climb Revival is the main fund-raiser for registered charity Staffordshire Clubs for Young People, which works with young people in some of the most deprived areas of Staffordshire. The charity provides activities, youth clubs and various sports and non-sports projects that give young people something positive to do in their free time. During 2017, Staffs CYP worked with over 3,500 young people, delivering over 290 varied youth sessions; this year with the money we raise at Oakamoor, we hope to work with 5,000 young people in more areas of Staffordshire, to support both the young people and their communities.
As in 2017, the Oakamoor Hill Climb Revival will take place during this year’s Oakamoor Festival, which runs from Friday 13th to Sunday 15th July 2018. There will be a treasure hunt and duck races on both Saturday and Sunday as well as a raft race on the River Churnet on Sunday. You will find more information and photos on Oakamoor Festival's Facebook page here.
